Merry and Bright Sage and Onion Stuffing

Enjoy this perfect side dish for a Sunday roast or a festive holiday where cozy vibes are the centerpiece.
Sage and Onion Stuffing
Ingredients
2 tbsp of Canada Golden Camelina Oil (a beautifully aromatic oil that pairs well with this dish)
1 medium white onion, finely chopped
1 cup bread crumbs
1 tbsp Canada Golden Roasted Flaxseed
2.5 tbsp of water
3-5 fresh sage leaves, finely chopped
Salt + pepper to season
Zest from 1 lemon or clementine (donโt skip - this brightens up the flavour!)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine flaxseed and water in a small bowl and set aside.
Add the camelina oil to a medium-sized pan over medium-high heat.
Toss in the onions and sweat until soft and slightly translucent. Remove from heat.
In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the onion, bread crumbs, flax mixture, and fresh sage. Season with salt and pepper.
Add the lemon or clementine zest and mix to combine.
Roll into bite-size balls, it should make about 12 balls.
Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
